Jacob's CTF Server

Well, shortly around 1:03AM CST.
I was playing on the server, and it was pretty much like I was speed hacking but it happened for a few seconds and then stopped. It wasn't lag, I could control where I was going, pretty much like WoM would do. Anthony was there, and he said it happened to him earlier.
Just thought I would bring this into the light.

That has happened to me too, a long time ago though. Ya I would also like to know why this is and what causes it.

This happens because Minecraft uses the system clock for timing. If the time changes slightly (and it does every once in a while, since Windows occasionally connects to Microsoft to synchronize the time) it gets confused and starts running fast.
