Do you have any experience as Op on other servers?:
Yes a lot and in a variety of them: Premium and Classic. I know how most if not all situations are to be handled and what is necessary to be a good staff which grows in a good community.

Why do you think you should be op?:
I am well aware of there currently being a lot of OPs on our server. However they reside (for the majority) in very close timezones between them. As a player on this server I've assured activity at all moments whatever the timezones of a person and have noticed a surprising amount of players online at different moments. As well as being very capable of handling a lot of issues I assure this in a very vast time range which would surely prove to help the server to a larger extent; that is the main reason for which I should be op.
Of course I won't neglect the other reasons: people seem to trust me as an individual which is essential to being staff. Consequently, with the capabilities of an OP I will strive to enforce the server rules at a higher degree all while maintaining a joyful environment.

We have nine Operators; that is a lot of high-ranking staff even for a sizable community like CTF. We have nine Operators, and yet, from what I can gather from Bkay's application, we don't have enough staff who are evenly monitoring the server at different times. We have nine Operators, and we couldn't get this right? On just what basis or criteria did we promote players to Operators to still have this problem?

For anyone who wants to say that Bkay never suggested or commented on the Operators being in relatively close time zones, these are Bkay's own words in the first two sentences of his 'Why do you think you should be op' paragraph: "I am well aware of there currently being a lot of OPs on our server. However[,] they reside in very close timezones between them."

Doesn't this bother anyone else that we have nine Operators--staff that we somehow ranked--and still we're reportedly having this problem? I'm sure that most of you trust Bkay--I know I do. If you trust Bkay, and this is coming from him, don't you see a problem?

Creatoss, to be honest there's about 7 active ops, a few barely come on every day and there is no European staff besides 2k and mel (I think) and mel hasnt been on in like 2 weeks.

I would trust Bkay as staff, he has experience and is a long time CTF player. So +1 if my vote counts as anything.

Don't misunderstand me. I am not against Bkay's application. What I am against is our current staff problem. You mentioned that we have seven inactive Operators. Not one or two. Seven. That's concerning--is that not? We picked nine operators--operators who are trusted to protect this community on a regular basis--and only two are active? This goes back to what Bkay wrote in his application and my point above. There is a serious problem with our staff--a serious problem.

You guys are misunderstanding each other. And Creatoss, you are kind of just trying to tell yourself there is trouble. If you read your first post, you tried to make the exact opposite argument then you made in your second post. So refer to my previous PM and present a coherent argument in that format, else no change will occur.

On Topic: I believe BkayB would make a great operator, especially since he will be on for other timezones.

You're claiming that I don't have logic in what I say, but you don't say how. I think pointing out that there is a staffing problem in both of my comments isn't being incoherent. I pointed out, in my first post, that we have nine staff members, and yet we're still having problems with staff monitoring the server constantly--something Bkay wrote in his application. In my second post, I responded to Crowley by pointing out that he himself identified a staffing issue: the fact that only two Operators are "active." Can you point to me where I am being incoherent in what I say? In fact, can you to tell me where I'm telling myself there is trouble? Notice how two people wrote in their own words we have an issue with the Operators. Eo, I can't be telling myself something two people explicitly just said. Don't try to come off as both Crowley and I aren't making sense.

Just take a minute and consider what I write. I get that this is a staff application, but two people just mentioned that we have a staffing issue. Is no one here going to take the time to talk about this but myself?

I'm apologize for being unclear, I thought you would read the quotes I selected. Crowley said that 7/9 staff members are ACTIVE. Not inactive. Read more carefully.

While that minor detail in an of itself does not invalidate your argument, as truth is not indicative of how many people support it, it does suggest you are alone in your opinion, especially because Crowley was saying what he said in opposition to you.
Continue this discussion in PM, keep the conversation in this thread on BkayB, not general staffing issues. I will delete any further posts by you that are not on topic in this thread.
