RE: Suggestion: Currency Change - xnotx123 - 06-02-2015 I actually could have worded that better: With this new system it would 'promote' the use of people using the store for the kind of people who are 'reluctant' from using it, just because they know how unfair it is. Simultaneously, this new system would 'prevent' those who like to use /store 'often'. So really, I should have said using the store would not feel as unfair as much. Regardless of what I say though, imagine how this system would really play out and judge it based off of that. The server could still definitely have a "Total Points" number, which is what we have now. But, along with that there could just be a "Points" or "Usable Points" currency. RE: Suggestion: Currency Change - eo2 - 06-03-2015 +1 sounds good RE: Suggestion: Currency Change - waffleninja6000 - 06-03-2015 -1 fak Yu eo RE: Suggestion: Currency Change - Fur - 06-03-2015 +1 Best idea for /store in ages, would love to see this implemented. RE: Suggestion: Currency Change - eo2 - 06-03-2015 I have like 290000 points and i am A okay with giving them up for this. It's a great idea RE: Suggestion: Currency Change - waffleninja6000 - 06-03-2015 What if it built up? For example, instead of startin' fresh every round it could be every five...idk.... RE: Suggestion: Currency Change - Cyber1435x - 06-04-2015 +1 now i get what you mean RE: Suggestion: Currency Change - eo2 - 06-05-2015 Can we implement this? RE: Suggestion: Currency Change - killerninja891 - 06-05-2015 Can you let us choose between we would want the old or the new system? or /drop 500 just in case of need? RE: Suggestion: Currency Change - Jacob_ - 06-05-2015 The poll is evenly divided now. I'm starting to like this more, after getting past the first sentence. It doesn't really promote the use of /store, it fixes the problem of people hoarding thousands of points and then unleashing them when they're having trouble winning. Instead of getting rewarded for playing a long time you get rewarded for doing well, which is closer to the original plan for the store. At the beginning there were some really OP commands like /moveflag and /teleport, which were intended to be used very rarely. But it didn't take long to figure out that it didn't matter how expensive I made them, everyone could still save up points for a while and completely destroy the other team. |
