RE: Post your computer specs - TheAwezomeDJ - 01-19-2014 I would say so but then again I'm not that well informed on the 660's performance. RE: Post your computer specs - Makoto - 01-22-2014 I am looking to upgrade my processor and router. Does anybody have recommendations? Does anybody have recommendations? i5 4430 if you're a fgt non-overclocker :^) RE: Post your computer specs - TheAwezomeDJ - 01-22-2014 I'd say go big on the processor. Either a AMD FX-8350 8-core @ 4Ghz, or an i7-3930K Quad-core @3.2 Ghz. But, if you wanna go real beastmode, buy the AMD FX-9590 8-core @ 4.7Ghz. That's a beast, but you would have to buy a new motherboard (same as with the Fx-8350) and a good CPU-fan for it, which would make it alot more expensive. For the fan in such case I would recommend the "Be Quiet CPU Cooler dark pro 2" or the "Cooler Master TPC 812" As for router, the "Asus RT-AC66U" is a good option. A friend of mine have one and it works like a charm for him, plus it got quite good reviews. RE: Post your computer specs - XenonMan - 01-28-2014 Now the REAL question here is Water cooling, or Air-Blasting fan? Also don't forget that LED lights boost performance. Red- Provides extra boosting RAM and overall makes your computer faster Blue- Makes the computer super cool, even in blazing summer heat Green- Eco-friendly, makes your computer run on significantly less energy All of this is true cause my dad works for Steam RE: Post your computer specs - Makoto - 01-28-2014 It's all fucking expensive. Don't touch what you don't know haha. Idk Xenon, I can see you spilling water from the cooling, just stick with fans. Yeah, thanks for the suggestions, and I do like to overclock. I do like the router pick, I might pick that up soon along with an SSD. RE: Post your computer specs - Magic102 - 01-29-2014 Heres my real comp stats. It's all it will give me. Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition Version 2002 Service Pack 3 Dell Dell DIMENSION DIM3000 Intel® Pentium® 4 CPU 2.80GHz 2.79 GHz, 512 MB of RAM Thats basicly it. Oh yeah, it's maximum disk space is 70.94 GB. I've still got 74% of that left (52.96 GB). RE: Post your computer specs - Makoto - 01-31-2014 I still don't understand how you can play with that... To others, don't feel shy about posting your computer specs! RE: Post your computer specs - Magic102 - 01-31-2014 Yeah, I see everything a few seconds late, so I just play with trying to figure out where my opponent moves. Then again, I can't tnt forward without the tnt and the indigo wool getting in my way... RE: Post your computer specs - Paladinstrike - 01-31-2014 Windows 7 Home Premium 2009 Toshiba Satellite C675 CPU B960 2.20 GHz No idea on my ram :/ thats just poof |
