Glitch? I don't know. - jack - 01-27-2014

This might have come with the lag killing fix but, sometimes when I die I see a purple block that I have placed right before I die to detonate tnt, but the tnt doesn't go off. Now the only way to get the person you are fighting as you die is an after kill which never happens. I know this is confusing but try to understand it.

I see this as well. I think it is just lag playing with our minds.

And that is why you type /t for afterkills.

I jsut place another purple block after i respawn. I used to type /t, but that got too annoying.

That's a feature, not a bug. If you're dead but haven't respawned yet due to lag, the server doesn't let you place any blocks, and other players will see you frozen at your spawn point. I think it's better than when sometime you would kill someone, and their connection was terrible so you'd have to keep avoiding them for 5 seconds until they actually respawned.

You can still get posthumous kills, as long as you place the TNT before you die and the purple block after. If everyone like the lag glitch, maybe allowing you to place purple blocks in the spawn to explode would be a good compromise?

But I actually see the purple that I placed. For some reason it doesn't register.

Someone else has already exploded you and seen you go back to the spawn. Why should it register?

RE: Glitch? I don't know. - jack - 01-28-2014

Because it was placed at the exact same time I died.
