@Name instead of /pm - #<text> instead of /opchat - Andilitox - 02-05-2014 Hey everyone, I have two suggestions today. Replace /pm with @Name and maybe (since there's no more rocket) use /r to reply to the last person that messaged you. Ex: @Andilitox Hey Replace /opchat with "#" followed by the text you want to say. Ex: #Andilitox is hacking I think both of this feature would reduce the amount of chatkills and make it easier to talk privately on the server. Thanks, Andi RE: @Name instead of /pm - #<text> instead of /opchat - anthonymad - 02-05-2014 Yeah it seems good, but it would be kinda hard to change :/ RE: @Name instead of /pm - #<text> instead of /opchat - FluffyFlyingB0B - 02-05-2014 I think /pm is fine, but maybe add # in addition to /opchat so we can use either. Either one sounds good to me though! RE: @Name instead of /pm - #<text> instead of /opchat - Makoto - 02-05-2014 Does it seem possible to do a private conversation string like: /pm Name Message but instead of typing /pm Name Message again, you can just keep saying /pm Message, as in, it would remember the recipient's name until commanded otherwise (i.e. no existing player in the server, or to a new person). I'm sure Jacob_ can do this, unless there's a better compromise. RE: @Name instead of /pm - #<text> instead of /opchat - Magic102 - 02-05-2014 Or even just havce it set-up like for example: /pm [# - optional]name message Then if the "#" Is included, you can just type the message in the next time you speak. This continues to happen until you do: /pm Then your conversation ends and you can speak to others again. If you don't add the "#" then it's a normal private message like we already have. --------------------------------- For opchat, maybe if you do: /oc message Instead of /opchat message OR you can do: /oc # Then it whatever messages you type are in opchat until you do: /oc again. |
