Since when did we have an application for ranks such as Operator's and VIP's? Wasn't the ranking of members done out of Jacob_'s decision?

I think it's because of Lois. When she thought I resigned (which I didn't) she made a post about this new 'Application' for the replacement Op. Anyways, I think it should be made clear that ranks are not decided on the basis of an application, but by Jacob_'s supreme ruling.

I'm thinking about putting applications back again (for OP only, VIP is now an honorary rank). I like hand-picking the staff but it's only effective when I know everyone well enough.
