ParaSpideeh - ParaSpider - 01-12-2015 Hey. I came from the onlinesequencer ad for this, and I am a mod there. I play Minecraft so I wanted to check this out, so far it seems pretty interesting. I also am a great map maker through the normal version of Minecraft (not classic) however I would be open to making maps for you guys if it's possible. I still need to learn the ropes and try logging onto the server even, but the issue is that I can't get classic working. Made a post on MCF already, though I'll see where the tide takes me. You might see me around on the forum frequently, and I just wanted to say hi! RE: ParaSpideeh - eo2 - 01-12-2015 Welcome! CTF is much fun, and i trust you will enjoy it RE: ParaSpideeh - Bel - 01-12-2015 Welcome to CTF! RE: ParaSpideeh - Jacob_ - 01-12-2015 Welcome! Classic on minecraft.net is nearly impossible to use now, but ClassiCube works really well. We're at the top of the server list too. ![]() RE: ParaSpideeh - waffleninja6000 - 01-12-2015 Salutations and welcome to ctf! P.S No I don't hack...Get used to them tags... RE: ParaSpideeh - Magic102 - 01-12-2015 Welcome, and as Jacob said, minecraft.net/classic/list is faulty. It just has duplicates, but if you are truly intto playing it in the browser from that, jacob had set it up so you search the name of the server "Jacob_'s CTF" and then select the one with todays date (whatever date it is at the time). I had to do that on my old computer. Classicube is fine too though. And also, can you build CTF maps on premium (full/paid version) and switch them to classic as long as you keep within the dimensions such as 128 by 64 by 64 or whatever and don't use blocks that aren't present in classic? Anyways, hope to see you around. RE: ParaSpideeh - ParaSpider - 01-12-2015 I believe the setup is completely different. Minecraft uses region and level.dat, whilst classic uses others. I'm sure somewhere though there's a converter. RE: ParaSpideeh - Magic102 - 01-12-2015 Yeah probably. I know classic can get .dat and .lvl and .level and stuff depending on the software you use. RE: ParaSpideeh - Jacob_ - 01-12-2015 I've done it with MCEdit, it's really difficult though. Takes a really long time, you have to use an old version, and it's hard to select the right area to convert. RE: ParaSpideeh - ParaSpider - 01-12-2015 Jacob, could you possibly tell me where I could build maps for the server? I heard that you have a certain build server but it's down. |
