Welcome to Jacob_'s Minecraft Capture the Flag! We are one of the first Minecraft CTF servers and still add new features regularly.

This server is made for the original version of Minecraft (now called Classic) so it's completely free! Minecraft Classic is no longer updated, but a group of players and developers are now working on ClassiCube, an updated version with more features and better compatibility. To play on our server using ClassiCube, download the free client and search for Capture the Flag in the server list.

Good points Makoto.
The only thing we can do to get new players to stay is to really be nice to them. It's really in their ballpark, so the best way to get people is to create a large influx of players, some of which will stay and some of which will go.
In this theory, advertising seems to be the only way to attract the needed, considering that there is no opportunity of converting CTF software to premium minecraft, which is much more popular. I still don't understand how you would advertise, though. Are we talking about paying for ads?
