That guy was an absolute bastard. That's something all leftists, centrists, and even center-rightists would agree on.

Yeah, the "Communists" of the CPUSA, but not communists.
It basically says that property is government-owned, which is incorrect to label as communist/socialist because it generally means that the means of production is owned bureaucratically rather than by the workers, and that property still functioned in the way that was despised by other Marxists and Marx himself.
