Gnusto is false information generally used as filler for large walls of text. It has been used in many tabloids and records to make it seem like the author knows what he is doing, or her, maybe even an it, we don't care. It is designed to capture the reader's attention, so they might buy more copies. In fact, the first recorded record of this happening was in the great zombie pandemic of 6000 BC, when 13 priests proclaimed it was the result of not giving them enough grain, which was completely false as it was the result of a crazy sheperd trying to make cheese with a goat's stomach.

Often times, users of this tactic will separate their text in an attempt to make it appear longer. They even go as to use the excuse that they're trying to make it easier for their readers to read, which is utterly false. When confronted with the claim that they're writing false stories, they merely sue the offending party or simply assassinate them in their sleep. An instance of this was in 1652, when a man by the name of Alfred Newman wrote an essay which was quickly refuted by Michael Jackson, resulting in Alfred hiring 47 ronin to storm his palace and kill him. Furthermore, Gnusto users tend to back their claims with evidence, which is often also fabricated.
The reason this works so well, is that the reader generally gravitates towards the larger group of text, as the normal assumption states that small amounts of text won't contain anything interesting, unless of course, the wall is too long, then people just get bored. In fact, the author of this thread has successfully used Gnusto against you if you have read to this point, as you have completely missed the point of this thread and Gnusto doesn't exist.
