I have been up and down the internet trying to get on the ctf server, but to no avail. ClassiCube seems my best bet but it gets stuck on the connection screen. Could anyone help me out with that?

Otherwise, is there a Jacob's CTF smp server?

P.S. It's nice to see that this server is pretty active
I even see some familiar faces

Minecraft.net doesn't work with Java 7 and I couldn't get Java 6 to work. Tried it on Firefox then IE.
Next I tried Wom and xWom. Those worked but they have the same connection problem. I can connect to regular smp servers though.

What exactly happens when you try connecting? It may have more to do with your computer.

I log in and select my server just fine, but then it gets to the "connecting to server" screen. Normally this should take a few seconds, but it's stuck there on my screen. After a while it says "failed to connect, server is probably down." I have tried this with several different servers and they all say the same thing.

I'd almost say it was a port problem, but I can get onto smp just fine.
