1) Can you increase the time when there is a dropped flag up to when it is returned? Because, as it is now, it doesn't give you much time either, for you or a teammate to pick a dropped flag (assuming there is not a stalemate or somethin' going on). You don't have an idea how much it costs sometimes to get the flag, and because of a single mistake you lose it and have to go though hell again to get it back.

2) Make a rank system with perks. Like most zombie survivals and lava survivals have, and access to extra commands, and the chance to apply for stafff with less requirements. Someting like assassin, decimator like other server used to have.
1. Making it even easier to capture the flag will probably make the game less interesting, because if there is less risk then more people will just try to TNT their way straight through the middle and hope that if they die a teammate picks it up. Being able to pick up flags at all is a relatively recent change, and I think it's related to this problem I posted in another thread.

We like to have the only difference of ability here the matter of how fast you can use tnt and how good you use it along with tagging, mines, and (sadly in my opinion) store.

Most people that get the most kills per game here are highly skilled instead of having extra big tnt explosion radius or having extra powerful laser pistols.

The command base is already almost perfect as it is and we are adding more things gradually through the months. But ranking up on a ctf server is useless in my opinion. Per say, ranking up after so many kills or games or whatever is just a matter of playing relentlessly until you get it. By no means do ranks mean anything. And if someone would do that, why should we award them with a rank other than a congrats you played so much you leveled up Big Grin

Anyways being a rank up and getting more commands makes it rather unfair in itself. Why limit the lower 'ranks' without having as many commands as does the higher ranks. Totally not needed in my opinion.

I say we should have ranks that make people weaker when they rank up, with increasingly more humiliating titles.

They kinda went away and decided lets give everything away.
Maybe we could have a game mode where all OP players get nerfed. lol.
or just take chaos mode a level higher and make tnt radius 25 blocks.
Or just add back rockets permanently :p
